Abortion Recovery - Fall 2019

Everyday we make hundreds of choices and decisions at lightning speed. Most choices are simple; however, many are complex and can have life altering impact. Some decisions can forever change the core of who we are and who we will ever be again, regardless of the circumstances leading to the decision. Abortion is one of those decisions. The decision to abort impacts millions of women worldwide. Women can be left with trauma-based symptoms, including feelings of shame, guilt, depression, anxiety, or disrupted sleep. Most women suffer the impact without sharing their story with others. Sometimes shame and guilt leads to women to remain silent leading to feelings of isolation. But you are not alone. The 12-week biblically-based study offered in Linda Cochrane's Forgiven and Set Free is an in-depth journey for the post-abortive woman and is designed to help you experience restorative hope and redemptive healing from the God who loves you completely. Be supported by others who have a similar story as you seek to find freedom from brokenness and transformation through the Holy Spirit. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free; stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality - Fall

Peter Scazzero learned the hard way: you can't be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Eventually God awakened him to a biblical integration of emotional health, a relationship with Jesus, and the classic practices of contemplative spirituality. It created nothing short of a spiritual revolution, utterly transforming him and his church. "The combination of emotional health and contemplative spirituality," he says, "unleashes the Holy Spirit inside us so that we might experientially know the power of an authentic life in Christ."

Tuesdays |6:30-8:00pm | Begins September 17 (9-10 weeks)
Location | Conference Room - upstairs | Lenexa Campus
Cost | $8 for workbook (Click Here For Workbook), $11 for actual book (Click Here For book), $10 for Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day - an 8-week devotional (Click Here For study book)
